Event information

Helen is a painter. And she has supernatural powers. Two days before the opening of her exhibition, all her paintings are stolen. Instead of focusing on solving the case, she returns to her Greek hometown, Egio. While Helen resumes her artistic work, her partner Lenell investigates the tectonic boundary on which Egio lies. Their personal lives are turbulent, as they find it increasingly difficult to ignore their own emotional wounds and the fractures in the world around them. And the lingering question remains: Is it possible to pursue personal fulfillment in the face of the fault lines surrounding us? And what should one use their powers for—especially when, like Helen, they possess telekinetic abilities?

"Plasmatropfen" (engl.: Plasma Drops) tells the story of inner and outer zones of disruption, plate tectonics, longing, permafrost, and art.

The author will read from his work, offering insights into his creative process and thought-provoking narratives. After the reading, participants are encouraged to ask questions and engage in the conversation. No prior knowledge is required—the event invites attendees to experience literature in an open and inspiring setting.
